Day 1

Well the first day of the Writing Sabbatical is over. Unfortunately, it wasn't nearly as successful as I had hoped. I didn't actually get any writing done. I managed to read through all that I had written before, and I have a good plan of attack (with a detailed outline) in place. So, hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to really get to writing.

...that is, if I manage to sit down and actually do it. I have to get a vaccination for when I go back to school in the Fall. I was hoping to take care of it today, but after spending 2 hours at the doctor's office, they told me I would have to get this particular vaccination at the city Health Dept. Great. That means more waiting tomorrow.

The plan right now is to take my moleskine with me and write while waiting in the bureaucracy. Not the optimal writing environment, but we deal with what we are given, right?

First Day

Well, I've just woken up, gotten things with the forum and irc channel all ready. Unfortunately, I have some errands (i.e. doctor's appointment) to run in the early afternoon. So, my plan is going to be spending the morning preparing things. Like, printing out what I have of Elixir so far, reading through it, and looking through my outline, making notes and getting a general plan. So, hopefully, I'll be ready to dive into writing after all my errands are finished.

So, probably no real updates on writing until this evening, just to let everyone know.
