These are some great free fonts I have found through my interest with open source software and free licenses. All the fonts listed on this page are absolutely free (as in cost and as in liberty). They are free for both personal and commercial use. And all the fonts listed here of of very high typographical quality (i.e. none of those poorly-designed fonts in those 1001-fonts collections).
